Thought I'd better get this ready. K8 was delivered to EMI some weeks ago it seems, tracks were played to an EMI conference in Germany recently (no news of them leaking, so far, but it's surely only a matter of time!), and release dates are now popping up all over the place. Retailers such as eil.com, HMV Japan and a few others are now listing the album (untitled as yet, but it's there folks!), some of them have it as a 2-disc set. Some confusion about whether this is a single album with an accompanying dvd of videos etc, or a double album. 
Release date is being given variously as 17th Oct, 26th October, and 8th November in the US according to the latest issue of Rolling Stone.

So the news was confirmed last week it seems, definitely a double album, with reports from 'sources' saying that one cd is a continuous piece lasting about half an hour, and the other contains around seven individual songs. Title is 'Aerial', which is a sucky title IMHO, and a single called 'King of the Mountain' will be available to download from the US iTunes site on 27th September. I'm not sure why the US is getting this song nearly a month before it's released as a single in the UK? Weird. Anyway, now we know - the rest is speculation.  |

It is very exciting though! Australia will get it last you can bank on that, that famous northern hemisphere to southern hemisphere trickle down effect
I've heard that it is very ochestral! |

I like it, it's very subtle and very Kate Bush!
